Как правильно читать из JarURLInputStream? (Джава) ⇐ JAVA

Я пытаюсь прочитать содержимое моего собственного JAR.
С помощью getResourceAsStream(path) я получаю sun.net.www.protocol.jar.JarURLConnection $JarURLInputStream. Но этот поток кажется пустым, когда путь является каталогом.

Для меня это похоже на ошибку, но, возможно, я делаю неправильно.
