Curl возвращает «Ошибка при получении данных от узла» ⇐ Php

Я получаю данные из URL-адреса с помощью Curl.

Все работает нормально, если php-код вызывается через HTTP-запрос или URL-адрес вводится в Firefox. Если тот же самый код выполняется из сценария PHP CLI, Curl_exec возвращает false. Появляется сообщение об ошибке «Ошибка при получении данных от узла».

Есть идеи, почему Curl не работает?
