 Как записать из определенного окна?

Я сделал программу-рекордер, которая делает снимки экрана и в конце объединяет их в видео в формате mp4. Программа теперь работает, захватывая весь экран. Что мне нужно сделать, так это позволить пользователю выбрать окно для записи. Есть ли способ использовать дескриптор для записи только этого окна?
