Как отключить проверку сертификата SSL с помощью Spring RestTemplate? ⇐ JAVA

Я пытаюсь написать интеграционный тест, в котором наш тест запускает встроенный HTTPS-сервер с помощью Simple. Я создал самозаверяющий сертификат с помощью keytool и могу получить доступ к серверу с помощью браузера (в частности, Chrome, и я получаю предупреждение о самозаверяющем сертификате).

Однако, когда я пытаюсь подключиться с помощью Spring RestTemplate, я получаю исключение ResourceAccessException:

Из других вопросов и сообщений в блогах я видел совет заменить HostnameVerifier чем-то вроде

И я установил его как глобально, так и в самом RestTemplate:

Тем не менее, я все еще получаю вышеуказанную ошибку. Как я могу обойти это?

• Установка сертификата локально вне модульного теста не является вариантом, поскольку тогда его придется устанавливать вручную на каждом компьютере разработки и сервере сборки, что вызовет лавину бюрократической волокиты.
• Нам нужен SSL, поскольку мы тестируем библиотеку, которая находится поверх RestTemplate и что мы настраиваем его правильно.

Я использую Java 8 (но можно использовать и 7) и Spring 4.0.3 .
