Невозможно войти в Debian 9 [закрыто] ⇐ Linux

I cannot login on Debian 9 installed on a VPS. Just after entering the login name and before entering password, I receive error login incorrect.
It happened probably after apt updating mistakenly by a Debian 12 source.list and a reboot.
The ssh service is also stopped and I get Connection refused error.
I can only see the login page by online console but unable to login.
There must be a configuration problem denying authentication. But I cannot find it.
Please note that I have access the file system via rescue mode.
