Массовый «перевод» изображений ⇐ Python

Я пытаюсь найти простой способ массового перевода изображений. Я хочу поиграть в японскую игру, и почти все в игре сохранено в виде изображений, включая кнопки, диалоги и т. д.
Перевод не обязательно должен быть безупречным, он уже достаточно, если это просто черная полоса поверх изображения с английским переводом.
Я наткнулся на другой пост, в котором был тот же вопрос, что и у меня, но решение в этом посте не сработало.
Идея заключалась в том, чтобы использовать библиотеку google-cloud-translate и небольшой скрипт Python, который преобразует изображения. Код был следующий:

Итак, я пошел дальше, зарегистрировался и создал проект в Google Cloud. Вот мой первый вопрос: какой API мне понадобится? Я полагаю, «API облачного перевода», верно? Тогда мне просто нужно создать учетную запись службы с правами на нее и зафиксировать учетные данные?
